Are You Saved From Wrath?

That You Should Not Perish

“The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand” (John 3:35).

Our introductory verse is, of course. speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ and is referencing the Plan of God for Salvation. The Father sent the Son to redeem mankind. We are lost and are prisoners of our sin nature. We cannot lift ourselves out of this fallen state. The Lord of Glory became man to save us from ourselves. He paid the sin debt owed to God which opened the way for fellowship with the Lord. By coming to the Lord in repentance and faith we are born spiritually. In other words, a path is opened, in that, “Newness of Life” through our born again experience is the result.

“He who believes on the Son has Everlasting Life…” ( John 2:36a).

By our faith in the Lord Jesus and His sacrificial death at Calvary, we have Everlasting Life. This is our way to God – the only way. There is no other way to come to the Lord. We must be born spiritually. Once we come to Him and are born again, the Holy Spirit comes to live within us forever. He will guide us and help us throughout our lives.

“And he who believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides in Him” ( John 3:26b,c).

We cannot have our sins forgiven and know God accept by coming His way. Should we choose not to come His way we will experience the wrath of God. There is no other way to be saved. God cannot allow us to come into His presence and abide with Him if we do not have His Spirit living within us. We will die in our sins and suffer a eternity away from the presence of God if we do not come to Him in repentance and faith. Calvary stands as a beacon of hope for those who realize their lost state, and a dire warning of the judgment to come for those that refuse the Mercy and Grace of God.

Are you saved from wrath today? If you realize your need and come to the Lord, you have been saved from wrath. If you have not yet come to the Lord, you have been shown the way of Salvation today. If you choose to not come the Lord’s way, or decide to delay your response to this question, you have, in effect, already answered and will be one heartbeat away from an eternity separated from the love God has shown us and the Salvation He has provided. By not coming to the God Who loves you and died on cruel Cross as proof of that love, you are in rebellion against God. He calls out today in Mercy and Grace. For those that do not come His way, either death or His soon return will result in a eternity in the Lake of Fire. The Lord calls out to all those in the world today that they not perish. Here Him today and live!

” For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life ” (John 3:16).
