Giving Thanks to the One Who Has Blessed Us With Our Very Life!

Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever” (Psalm 107:1).

This Thanksgiving is a time for us to give thanks to the One that loves us and provides for our every need. He wishes to spend time with us and have us realize just how much He loves us. His great sacrifice at the Cross is proof of that love and should cause us to come to Him with thanksgiving – Come to the One who loved us and rescued us from our fallen condition.

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His Name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations” (Psalm 100:4,5).

He provides for our every need and watches over us for our good. He comes to us as a father watching over His children. We can come to Him anytime with all of our needs. He is there for us when we are afraid or troubled. He comforts us in all that we go through in this life. He is truly worthy of our praise and thanksgiving.

The Cross (Christ crucified) is the bridge that allows us to be forgiven and to be brought into God’s very presence. We are called children of God and beloved of the Lord. Our realization of just how much the Lord has done for us should result in thanksgiving and praises to our great God. In these difficult times we live in, we can say that we know the One that created us, the One that saved us, the One that provides for us, and the One that watches over us. And there is coming a day when we will be with Him for eternity. He gave us His Son! What more could He have done to show His love for us. Let’s place Him first in our hearts this Thanksgiving.
